This 9‑piece HSS spiral flute tap set covers the most common metric coarse thread sizes from M2 to M12. Each tap features a TiN coating for reduced friction and increased wear resistance, making them suitable for blind hole threading in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics. The spiral flute design evacuates chips upward, preventing packing at the bottom of blind holes – a key advantage over straight flute taps.
