Product Specifications:
This 4-flute corner radius end mill is manufactured from solid tungsten carbide with a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating. The R1.0 corner radius strengthens the cutting edge, reduces chipping risk, and extends tool life in high‑feed milling. The 4‑flute design provides excellent surface finish on both side walls and bottom surfaces, suitable for finishing and light roughing in molds, dies, and precision components.
The 6mm cutting diameter features a straight shank of the same size, ensuring rigidity in small‑diameter milling. With a flute length of 15mm and overall length of 50mm, this end mill is optimized for shallow cavities, slotting, and contouring in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and pre‑hardened tool steels up to HRC 60. TiAlN coating offers high heat resistance (up to 800°C) for dry or high‑speed machining.
Typical applications include injection mold cores, die components, automotive parts, and general engineering. Custom radii (R0.2‑2.0) and alternative coatings (AlTiN, DLC) are available for OEM orders. For precision corner milling, this TiAlN‑coated end mill delivers consistent performance and long tool life.
