Product Specifications:
This 4‑flute solid carbide square end mill features a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating with a distinctive blue‑grey appearance, offering higher hardness (≈3000 HV) and lower friction than standard TiN. Designed for milling hardened steels up to HRC 60, it excels in finishing and semi‑finishing operations on mold steels, die components, and wear‑resistant alloys. The dense tooth configuration (4 flutes) ensures excellent surface finish on side walls and bottom surfaces.
The 10mm cutting diameter with straight shank of the same size provides rigid clamping. With a 75mm overall length and 25mm flute length, this end mill is suitable for slotting, contouring, and profile milling in heat‑treated tool steels (e.g., H13, D2, S7) and stainless steel grades. TiCN's superior abrasion resistance allows higher cutting speeds while maintaining edge integrity.
Typical applications include automotive dies, plastic injection molds, and general engineering of HRC60 materials.
