This 4-flute corner radius end mill is manufactured from solid tungsten carbide with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating. The corner radius design strengthens the cutting edge, reduces chipping, and extends tool life in high‑feed and high‑speed milling applications. The 4‑flute geometry provides excellent surface finish on both side walls and bottom surfaces, making it suitable for finishing passes.
The 14mm cutting diameter is optimized for general‑purpose milling of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened materials up to HRC 60. TiCN coating offers higher hardness (≈3000 HV) and lower friction than TiN, enabling faster cutting speeds and reduced built‑up edge. The dense tooth configuration ensures stable machining in slots, contours, and face milling operations.
Typical applications include automotive components, mold bases, machine tooling, and general engineering. Custom diameters (M6‑M16), corner radii (R0.2‑1.0), and alternative coatings (AlTiN, DLC) are available for OEM orders.
