Product Specifications:
This 4-flute corner radius end mill is manufactured from solid tungsten carbide with a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating, engineered for high‑speed machining of materials up to HRC 45. The corner radius (R0.5) strengthens the cutting edge, reduces chipping, and improves tool life in both roughing and finishing applications. The TiAlN coating provides excellent heat resistance (up to 800°C) and high hardness, enabling dry or minimum‑lubrication milling at elevated speeds.
The 10mm cutting diameter features a straight shank of the same size for maximum rigidity. With a flute length of 25mm and overall length of 75mm, this end mill is well‑suited for slotting, contouring, and face milling of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and pre‑hardened tool steels. The 4‑flute geometry delivers excellent surface finish on side walls and bottom surfaces, ideal for semi‑finishing and finishing passes.
Typical applications include mold bases, die components, automotive parts, and general engineering. Custom corner radii (R0.2‑1.0) and alternative coatings (AlTiN, DLC) are available for OEM orders.
