Product Specifications:
This 3-flute corner radius end mill is manufactured from solid tungsten carbide with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, characterized by its blue‑grey appearance. The 3‑flute design provides better chip clearance than 4‑flute tools, making it suitable for slotting and roughing in steels, stainless steels, and cast irons. The corner radius strengthens the cutting edge and reduces chipping.
The 9mm cutting diameter offers a good balance between rigidity and access for medium‑sized cavities and contours. TiCN coating offers higher hardness (≈3000 HV) and lower friction than TiN, enabling faster cutting speeds and reduced built‑up edge. Typical applications include general machining, mold components, and automotive parts.
