This 3‑flute solid carbide end mill is specifically designed for high‑speed aluminum machining. The mirror‑polished flutes provide an ultra‑smooth, low‑friction surface that prevents aluminum adhesion (built‑up edge), resulting in superior chip evacuation and a high‑gloss finish on workpieces. The 45° high helix angle further enhances chip flow, making it ideal for slotting, contouring, and ramp‑down operations on CNC machining centers.
The 8mm cutting diameter features a straight shank of the same size for accurate clamping. With an overall length of 75mm and flute length of 22mm, this end mill is well‑suited for both roughing and finishing of aluminum electronic housings, automotive trim, aerospace components, and general aluminum fabrication. The 3‑flute geometry provides larger chip gullets, reducing clogging and heat generation in soft, sticky aluminum.
Uncoated but highly polished, this tool excels in clean, low‑adhesion materials. For higher‑speed or abrasive alloys, optional coatings (DLC, ZrN) are available upon request.
