Product Specifications:
This solid carbide drill bit features a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating, providing exceptional heat resistance (up to 800°C) and high hardness for drilling in hardened steels (up to HRC 58), stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The 17.1mm cutting diameter with a 73mm flute length and 123mm overall length makes it ideal for general-purpose and medium-depth hole making in CNC machining centers.
The TiAlN coating significantly outperforms standard TiN in high-speed and dry drilling applications, extending tool life and allowing higher cutting parameters. The straight shank (18mm) ensures secure clamping in hydraulic and collet chucks. This jobber-length drill offers a good balance of rigidity and reach for most industrial tasks.
Typical uses include mold making, automotive parts, heavy machinery components, and structural steel drilling. Custom lengths, shank diameters, and alternative coatings (AlCrN, DLC) are available for OEM orders. For high-volume production and demanding materials, this TiAlN-coated carbide drill delivers superior wear resistance and consistent hole quality.
Solid carbide drills for automotive manufacturing deliver high precision, excellent wear resistance, and high cutting speeds. Ideal for engine cylinders, transmission housings, brake systems, and e‑motor components.
