Product Specifications:
This solid carbide deep hole drill bit is designed for efficient drilling at depths up to 5× the cutting diameter (approx. 44mm). The TiAlN coating provides exceptional heat resistance (up to 800°C) and low friction, enabling high-speed drilling in hardened steels (HRC 58), stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel alloys. The spiral flute design ensures reliable chip evacuation even in deeper holes.
The 8.8mm diameter drill features a 47mm flute length and 89mm overall length, making it suitable for medium-depth holes in mold bases, die components, hydraulic parts, and automotive transmission housings. The straight shank (10mm) fits standard collet chucks and hydraulic holders. The jobber-length design offers good rigidity for precision drilling in CNC machines.
Compared to standard jobber drills, this tool is optimized for deeper penetration without sacrificing chip clearance. Custom lengths up to 120mm overall, reduced shank diameters, and alternative coatings (AlCrN, DLC) are available for OEM orders. For demanding deep-hole applications in hardened materials, this TiAlN-coated carbide drill delivers superior wear resistance and consistent hole quality.
Solid carbide drills for automotive manufacturing deliver high precision, excellent wear resistance, and high cutting speeds. Ideal for engine cylinders, transmission housings, brake systems, and e‑motor components.
