Product Specifications:
This solid tungsten carbide jobber drill is engineered for high-performance drilling in hardened steels (up to HRC 58), stainless steel, cast iron, and other tough materials. The TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating provides exceptional heat resistance (up to 800°C) and high hardness, enabling faster cutting speeds and longer tool life compared to uncoated or TiN-coated drills.
The 17.1mm diameter drill features a total length of 143mm and a flute length of 93mm, ideal for general-purpose hole making in CNC machining centers. The straight shank (18mm) fits standard hydraulic or collet chucks. The jobber-length design offers a good balance of rigidity and reach for most industrial drilling applications.
Typical uses include mold bases, heavy machinery components, automotive parts, and structural steel fabrication. Custom lengths, shank configurations, and special coatings (AlCrN, DLC) are available for OEM orders. For high-volume production, this TiAlN-coated carbide drill delivers superior wear resistance and consistent hole quality.
Solid carbide drills for automotive manufacturing deliver high precision, excellent wear resistance, and high cutting speeds. Ideal for engine cylinders, transmission housings, brake systems, and e‑motor components.
