This 4-flute square end mill is manufactured from solid tungsten carbide with a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating, engineered for high‑speed and high‑feed milling of materials up to HRC 55. The TiAlN coating provides exceptional heat resistance (up to 800°C) and high hardness, enabling dry or minimum‑lubrication machining at elevated speeds. The 4‑flute design delivers excellent surface finish on side walls and bottom surfaces, ideal for finishing and general‑purpose milling.
The 16mm cutting diameter features a shank of equal diameter (16mm) for maximum rigidity. With a flute length of 45mm and overall length of 100mm, this end mill is well‑suited for slotting, contouring, and face milling of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and pre‑hardened tool steels. The optimized spiral flute geometry ensures smooth chip evacuation and reduced cutting vibration.
