Product Specifications:
This 4-flute corner radius end mill is manufactured from premium tungsten carbide with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating. The corner radius design strengthens the cutting edge, reduces chipping, and improves tool life in high‑feed and high‑speed milling applications. The dense tooth configuration (4 flutes) provides excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy on hardened steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and high‑temperature alloys.
The 3mm cutting diameter and extra length design allow deeper reaches in precision machining, such as mold cavities, aerospace components, and medical implants. TiCN coating offers higher hardness (≈3000 HV) and lower friction than TiN, enabling faster cutting speeds and reducing built‑up edge. The spiral tooth form ensures smooth chip evacuation, even in deep slots.
Common applications include finishing operations on HRC 55‑60 tool steels, stainless steel parts, and cast iron components. Custom lengths, corner radii (R0.1‑0.5), and alternative coatings (AlTiN, DLC) are available for OEM orders.
