This TiAlN-coated solid carbide twist drill bit is engineered for high-performance drilling in hardened steels up to HRC 55, stainless steel, cast iron, and alloy steels. The TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating provides exceptional heat resistance (up to 800°C) and low friction, enabling higher cutting speeds and longer tool life compared to uncoated or TiN-coated carbide drills.
The 13.2mm cutting diameter with a 60mm flute length and 107mm overall length is optimized for medium-depth holes in mold bases, die components, hydraulic manifolds, and automotive parts. The straight shank (14mm) ensures secure clamping in collet chucks and hydraulic holders. The jobber-length design provides good rigidity for general-purpose drilling on CNC machining centers and milling machines.
