This 2‑flute solid carbide end mill is specially designed for high‑speed micro‑machining of aluminum and its alloys. The mirror‑polished flutes provide an ultra‑smooth, low‑friction surface that prevents aluminum adhesion (built‑up edge), ensuring excellent chip evacuation and a high‑gloss finish on workpieces. The 45° high helix angle further enhances chip flow, making it ideal for slotting, contouring, and fine finishing on small aluminum parts.
The 3mm cutting diameter features a straight shank of the same size for accurate clamping in collet chucks. With an overall length of 50mm and flute length of 10mm, this micro end mill is perfect for intricate details in aluminum electronic housings, smartphone components, medical devices, and miniature molds. The 2‑flute geometry provides large chip gullets, reducing clogging and heat generation in soft, sticky aluminum, while allowing higher feed rates.
Uncoated but highly polished, this tool excels in clean, low‑adhesion materials. For higher‑speed or abrasive alloys, optional coatings (DLC, ZrN) are available upon request.
