This 4-flute solid carbide square end mill is designed for precision milling of hardened steels up to HRC 55, as well as alloy steels, stainless steel, and cast iron. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating provides low friction and high wear resistance, enabling faster cutting speeds and longer tool life. The extra‑long overall length (75mm) allows deep cavity machining and extended reach without sacrificing rigidity.
The 4mm cutting diameter features a straight shank of the same size for accurate clamping in collet chucks. With a flute length of 18mm, this end mill is well‑suited for slotting, contouring, and finishing operations on mold cores, die components, and general engineering parts. The 4‑flute geometry delivers excellent surface finish on both side walls and bottom surfaces, ideal for semi‑finishing and finishing passes.
Typical applications include hardened steel molds, precision tooling, automotive components, and aerospace parts.
