This HSSE double‑end A‑type center drill is designed for machines that require left‑hand cutting tools. The A‑type geometry (plain cone without protective radius) conforms to DIN333 with a 60° angle, creating standard center holes for turning and grinding. The left‑hand rotation is suitable for spindles that run counter‑clockwise or for specialized setups where right‑hand tools are not feasible.
The 2.5mm tip diameter produces a small center hole ideal for precision components. With an overall length of 47mm and a shank diameter of 6.3mm, this center drill is compact and works well on small CNC machines, watchmaking lathes, and instrument manufacturing equipment. The HSSE (cobalt) substrate provides good heat resistance and wear properties, handling stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and copper‑zinc alloys effectively.
As a double‑ended tool, both ends are identical, offering twice the working life. The 2‑flute design ensures stable centering without chatter.
